Sessions with Jacqui encouraged me to take time to reflect upon not only my fertility journey but many aspects of my life.  Through guiding our conversations and attentive and active listening she taught me techniques and allowed me to reach conclusions for healthy approaches to life’s speed bumps.  She also empowered me to ask key questions of myself and my healthcare providers.  The tools I developed and the lessons I have Iearned were instrumental to my success in having a baby and in so many other areas of my life.

It was such a blessing having Jacqui as our doula for the birth of our second child.  My VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) was a success! From the first time we met, I knew she was the perfect person for me.  Jacqui was caring, patient, open minded and was always there to listen.  With each hypnosis session I was able to learn the ever so valuable techniques that helped me tremendously during labor.  Most importantly, Jacqui was able to help me trust my body and let go of my fears about giving birth naturally.  During labor, she was gentle but her presence was strong. Jacqui knew exactly what I wanted and kept me focused throughout labor.  She was able to guide me to giving birth drug free!  After my baby was born, I felt so empowered and I was high on life for weeks!  My birth experience was just beautiful and unforgettable.  My husband and I would highly recommend Jacqui.  Thank you so much Jacqui for everything!  You were amazing!!

Jacqui was such a gift to us during the birth of our daughter!  She was a source of great support right from the first time we met with her.   She was honest and non judgmental – she took the time to meet our family and to understand what we hoped the delivery would be.  She kept in touch with me throughout the pregnancy and regularly checked in those last few weeks before the baby was due.   But, Jacqui’s gift was really evident during labor and delivery.  Jacqui was an ever present, strong, yet quiet source of support and strength during the process.  She knew when to offer words of encouragement.  She helped guide me through some of the hypnobirthing techniques we studied.  She knew when to offer comfort measures and when to stand back.  And, as if helping me through the process of natural child birth wasn’t enough –s he got some great first pictures of our baby!  We feel so fortunate that Jacqui was a part of our daughter’s birth.

The most AMAZING prenatal yoga class that I have ever been to!  Missy Dabilis is a wonderful yoga teacher as well as a fellow Doula friend of mine.  I was lucky enough to be invited by Missy to attend a class a few weeks ago and to facilitate a Birth by Hypnosis meditation at the end of  the class.  The support and camaraderie was beautiful to take part in.  This is definitely a class not to miss!
